The cookies Clipcaptor uses, and the ones it doesn't.

This Cookie Policy explains how YACOSMART LTD (“Clipcaptor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Clipcaptor website and application (the “Service”).

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They're widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to give site owners information about how the site is used.

2. Cookies we use

We only use essential cookies: the ones needed to keep you signed in, keep your session secure, and make the site work. They can't be switched off, and under UK and EU law they don't need your consent.

3. Analytics without cookies

We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't set cookies, doesn't use local storage, and doesn't track you across other websites.

4. Local storage

If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us.

5. Payments

When you buy a plan, you're taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies there, needed for payment and fraud prevention, as described in Stripe's privacy policy.

6. No analytics or marketing cookies

We don't use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies. If we ever add them, we'll ask for your consent first with a cookie banner, and nothing non-essential will be set until you agree.

7. Managing cookies

Most web browsers let you view and delete cookies through their settings, usually found in the “options” or “preferences” menu. Blocking essential cookies may stop you from staying signed in.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above.
